WILSON COUNTY

WILSON CO. ADMINISTRATIVE & TRAINING COMPLEX

RENOVATION-2018

In 2012, Wilson County Schools opened the New Lebanon High School, leaving the existing facility empty.  After multiple years of discussion, it was finally decided to relocate almost all School District offices to the facility.  In addition to administrative staff, the system’s TVOLS, Adult High School, and Adult Basic Education programs were moved to the facility.  Now in order to visit or meet with any department within the school system, a parent or student now has a ‘one stop shop’.

The original building was constructed in the 1950’s with additions in the 1970s, and 1990’s.  The demolition scope took the building down to its bare bones, and then some. The renovation included new utilities, roof, floors, paint, ceilings, bathrooms, lights, low voltage, security systems, and everything needed to bring the building back to its former glory.
